Jan (“Yahn”) Griffioen has many years of experience in strategic planning, strategic marketing, management, business development, product development, and engineering across a variety of industries.
Jan takes an entrepreneurial, growth-oriented, creative approach to addressing a company’s business challenges. With an entrepreneurial mindset and a back-to-basics, data-driven approach, he helps small and mid-market B-to-B companies to grow revenue, increase profits, find new markets, and improve their competitive position.
He has been involved in a large number of consulting engagements involving strategic planning, marketing, business plan development, market research, internet marketing, e-commerce, customer surveys, and general business advice to executive teams.
Jan Griffioen has held positions in management, business development, and engineering at Hawtal Whiting North America, Johnson Controls Automotive, Silicon Graphics, Altair Engineering, and TNO Automotive Research.
He has earned an MBA from the University of Michigan Stephen Ross School of Business in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In addition, Jan holds engineering degrees from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta and the University of Twente in the Netherlands.
