Prior to starting his consulting firm, Jan Griffioen held positions in management, business development, and engineering with companies in design and engineering services, automotive parts manufacturing, computer technology, software development, automotive safety research, and consumer electronics.
Jan Griffioen holds an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business in Ann Arbor, Michigan as well as graduate degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia, and the University of Twente in the Netherlands.
